The fort opens at 07:00, two and a half hours before the City Palace and Jantar Mantar, so it is the natural first stop of the day. Vehicles stop below the fort and the last stretch is a cobbled ramp on foot; jeeps and elephants are separate paid services, not part of your entry ticket.
