We may collect personal data:

  • directly from you when you create an account, contact us, request a plan or make a booking;
  • from another person arranging travel on your behalf;
  • automatically through cookies and similar technologies;

  • from customer-support and communications providers; and
  • from publicly available or legally accessible sources where appropriate.

If you provide another traveller’s personal data, you confirm that you are authorised to provide it and have informed that person about the relevant processing.

3. How we use personal data

We may process personal data to:

  • create and manage your account;

  • send service-related and transactional communications;
  • send marketing communications where permitted;
  • enforce our Terms and Conditions;
  • maintain business, tax and accounting records;
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and
  • comply with applicable law and lawful requests from authorities.

We will not use personal data for a purpose that is incompatible with the purpose disclosed to you unless permitted by law or we obtain any additional consent required.

4. Personalisation and automated technology

Travelomore may use technology-assisted systems to organise information, understand preferences and personalise travel recommendations.

These systems may consider information such as your requested destination, travel dates, budget, preferences, previous interactions and available travel options.

Recommendations are intended to assist travel planning. You should review all dates, passenger information, prices, inclusions, exclusions and supplier conditions before confirming a booking.

We do not intend to make decisions producing significant legal effects about you solely through automated processing without appropriate safeguards.

5. Grounds for processing

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we may process personal data:

  • with your consent;
  • to provide a service you requested;
  • to take steps relating to a booking or transaction;
  • for specified legitimate uses recognised by applicable law;
  • to comply with a legal obligation;
  • to respond to medical emergencies or threats to life or safety; or
  • for another lawful purpose.

Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw that consent by contacting us or using an available preference control.

Withdrawal will not affect processing already lawfully completed. It may prevent us from providing a feature or service that requires the relevant information.

6. Information necessary to provide services

Certain information is necessary to prepare, confirm or manage travel services.

If you choose not to provide required information, we may be unable to:

  • create or manage an account;
  • produce a sufficiently relevant travel plan;
  • complete a reservation;
  • process a payment or refund;
  • communicate a schedule change; or
  • arrange requested assistance.

We will identify mandatory information where reasonably practical.

7. Sensitive information

Travel arrangements may occasionally require information relating to health, accessibility, dietary requirements, identity documents or payment methods.

We request that you provide sensitive information only where it is relevant to a service or specifically requested.

Where necessary, such information may be shared with the appropriate Travel Provider-for example, an airline handling an assistance or meal request. We will apply safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and applicable law.

8. How we share personal data

We may share personal data with the following categories of recipients.

8.1 Travel Providers

We may share information with airlines, hotels, transport operators, tour operators, activity providers, insurers and other suppliers where necessary to obtain quotations, make bookings or provide travel support.

Travel Providers may process personal data under their own privacy policies and legal obligations.

8.2 Technology and operational providers

We may use service providers for:

  • cloud hosting and data storage;
  • payment processing;
  • communications and customer support;
  • analytics and performance monitoring;
  • security and fraud prevention;
  • identity verification;
  • document management; and
  • professional, accounting or legal services.

These providers may process personal data only for authorised purposes and subject to appropriate contractual or legal protections.

8.3 Business transfers

Personal data may be disclosed as part of a merger, investment, restructuring, financing, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business.

Where required, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient continues to protect the information and provide any legally required notice.

8.4 Legal and safety disclosures

We may disclose personal data where reasonably necessary to:

  • comply with applicable law, regulation, court order or lawful government request;
  • investigate fraud, security incidents or unlawful activity;
  • enforce our agreements;
  • protect the rights, safety or property of users, Travelomore or others; or
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell personal data in exchange for money.

9. International data transfers

Travel is inherently international. A Travel Provider, technology provider or operational partner involved in your journey may be located outside India.

Personal data may therefore be transferred to or processed in the country where:

  • your destination or Travel Provider is located;
  • a booking or support service is performed; or
  • an authorised technology provider operates its infrastructure.

Privacy laws in those countries may differ from Indian law. We will take reasonable and legally required measures when transferring personal data internationally, subject to any restrictions notified under applicable law.

10. Data retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to:

  • provide and administer services;
  • maintain booking and transaction records;
  • respond to support requests;
  • comply with tax, accounting and legal obligations;
  • resolve disputes;
  • prevent fraud and misuse; and
  • enforce agreements.

Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information, the relevant Travel Provider and legal requirements.

When personal data is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete, anonymise or securely dispose of it, unless continued retention is permitted or required by law.

Backup copies may remain for a limited period until securely overwritten or deleted through normal system processes.

11. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, organisational and technical safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse.

Measures may include:

  • access controls and authentication;
  • encryption where appropriate;
  • monitoring and logging;
  • secure transmission methods;
  • vendor-security assessments;
  • data minimisation;
  • employee confidentiality obligations; and
  • incident-response procedures.

No website, transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and promptly informing us of suspected unauthorised activity.

If a personal-data breach occurs, we will take appropriate response measures and provide notifications required by applicable law.

12. Cookies and similar technologies

Travelomore may use cookies, pixels, local storage and similar technologies to:

  • operate essential Platform functions;
  • maintain sessions and remember preferences;
  • measure Platform traffic and performance;
  • diagnose technical issues;
  • understand how features are used;
  • prevent fraud and improve security; and
  • support marketing where permitted.

Cookies may include:

  • Strictly necessary cookies, required for security and core functionality;
  • Functional cookies, used to remember choices and preferences;
  • Analytics cookies, used to understand usage and improve performance; and
  • Advertising cookies, used to measure or personalise marketing where enabled.

Where required, non-essential cookies will be used only after obtaining appropriate permission.

You can manage cookies through the controls provided on the Platform or your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Platform functionality.

A separate Cookie Policy or preference centre may provide additional information about the specific technologies in use.

13. Marketing communications

With your consent or where otherwise permitted by law, we may send information about destinations, travel ideas, offers, product updates or services that may interest you.

You can stop receiving marketing communications by:

  • selecting the unsubscribe option in an email;
  • adjusting available account preferences; or
  • contacting us at contact@travelomore.com.

Opting out of marketing will not prevent essential communications relating to your account, enquiry, booking, payment or travel disruption.

14. Children’s personal data

The Platform is intended for use by adults. Individuals under 18 should not create an account or independently submit personal data.

An adult arranging travel may provide information concerning a child traveller where necessary for a booking. The adult confirms that they are the child’s parent or lawful guardian, or are otherwise authorised to provide the information.

Where required by law, we will obtain verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian before processing a child’s personal data.

We do not knowingly undertake behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children.

If you believe a child has provided personal data without appropriate authorisation, contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

15. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • obtain information about the personal data we process and the activities for which it is used;
  • request access to or a summary of your personal data;
  • correct inaccurate or misleading information;
  • complete incomplete information;
  • request erasure of personal data that is no longer required;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • raise a grievance concerning our processing;
  • nominate another individual to exercise specified rights in the event of death or incapacity; and
  • approach the competent data-protection authority where available.

These rights may be subject to lawful exceptions, including where information must be retained for a booking, legal obligation, dispute, fraud-prevention measure or legal claim.

To submit a request, email contact@travelomore.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.

You should provide accurate information and avoid making false, frivolous or abusive requests.

16. Correcting booking information

A request to correct or erase information held by Travelomore may not automatically update records held independently by an airline, hotel or other Travel Provider.

Corrections to passenger names or booking details may also be subject to the Travel Provider’s fare rules, fees and technical limitations.

Where appropriate, we will assist you in contacting or submitting a request to the relevant Travel Provider.

17. Third-party websites and services

The Platform may contain links to Travel Provider websites, payment services, social networks or other third-party platforms.

Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. Travelomore is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of a third party that independently determines how it processes personal data.

You should review the applicable privacy policy before providing information directly to a third party.

18. Social media and external communications

If you communicate with Travelomore through WhatsApp, a social network or another third-party communication service, that provider may separately process information under its own terms and privacy policy.

Avoid sending payment credentials, passwords or unnecessary identity documents through public or unsecured communication channels.

19. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, our services or data-processing practices.

The revised version will be posted on the Platform with an updated date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before materially changing how personal data is processed.

We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
