The Andaman & Nicobar Islands are India's last true tropical wilderness — 572 islands strewn across the Bay of Bengal, most of them uninhabited. Port Blair
The gateway to the Andamans. Home to Cellular Jail, the airport, ferries to outer islands, and the Anthropological Museum.
Havelock Island
The jewel of the Andamans. Radhanagar Beach (Beach 7) is Asia's finest. World-class scuba diving and bioluminescent plankton at night.
Neil Island
Smaller and quieter than Havelock. A paradise for those who want nothing but a hammock, reef, and fish curry. No crowds.
North Bay
A 20-minute boat ride from Port Blair. Clear reefs accessible without diving — glass-bottom boats, snorkel sets, and coral walks.

A quiet east-coast beach on Swaraj Dweep named for the black rocks that break up its white sand and shallow water.

Natural Bridge (Howrah Bridge), Neil Island
A natural coral-rock arch on the western shore of Shaheed Dweep, reachable on foot only at low tide.
Radhanagar Beach
A two-kilometre curve of white sand and calm turquoise water on the west coast of Swaraj Dweep, known for its sunsets.
Ross Island (Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Dweep)
The overgrown ruins of the former British administrative headquarters for the Andamans, on an island 15-20 minutes by boat from Port Blair.

Crystal-clear water and calm seas. Ideal for snorkelling, diving, and island-hopping. The most popular season — book well in advance.
Spring
March – May
Warm and mostly dry. Sea conditions are still good. Slightly fewer tourists than December–January.
Monsoon
June – September
Heavy rain and rough seas. Many islands become inaccessible. Not suitable for beach or water activities.

Post-monsoon recovery. Seas begin calming in November. Great for deals and fewer crowds.
