Kata Tjuta's 36 domes lie 50 km by road from Uluru. If you only have an hour, the Walpa Gorge walk is an easy, shaded there-and-back into the gorge; the more demanding Valley of the Winds circuit is a separate half-day activity and this is a men's sacred site, so stay on the marked tracks.
